YES! It's about time. Eminent Domain for private development is so utterly un-American and disgusting it boggles the mind. No one has elected officials to "redecorate" and one would be challenged to find any evidence that any of these projects have achieved there "Cover story" glory. Bloomberg is the embodiment of eminent domain abuse - but he's not alone. Bloomberg just seems to enjoy it more than most. It's rare that kudos can be extended to NY politicians, but if they can stop this disgusting practice, It should be applauded loudly and remembered at election time.
