No shining star!! I usually don't blog. In fact, this is my first time ever. I also watched the panel last week at George Washington University featuring five former secretaries of state. When the consensus was DIPLOMACY and that the next president must start talks Iran. I cheered!! They also said that diplomacy was not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength, character and leadership. If you recall, this was and still is Senator Obama's stance. When Obama stated as much, McCain and his surrogates, and even some in the media, called him naïve, weak and lacking the tough stance and knowledge needed in foreign affairs. So, no, I don't see Palin as some shining star. As we all know, this speech, just like all her others, was prepared by someone else with no input from her. I seriously doubt she even understands what it is she's reading. What I have seen, and continue to see, is John McCain yet again trying to manipulate and deceive the American people.
