So, if Lyndon Johnson in 1964 had said...We're going to put Equal Rights for African Americans on the "back burner", eventually we'll get around to that issue. US citizens would have been just hunky dory with that? DOUBT IT!!! Where do all of these consevative Christians, that completely misinterperate THEIR bible come from anyway? The USA is a democratic republic, not a theocracy.
