You fail to point out that the McCain spokesman was so inaccurate in his facts on the conference call that reporters were unanimous in their disbelief. Second, Obama might have attended ONE event with Ayers but it is universally agreed by all observers and people who have looked in to it that the event was not a fundraiser. I think it would be a big risk for McCain to go after Obama on Wright now that McCain has picked Palin who's minister and church make Wright (who dislikes Obama a lot by the way) seem very mild in comparison. the DNC has tons of video and info on the sermons and talks and radical and dangerous views of people who have spoken at the Church that Palin attends. but at this point, going there is all McCain has left. So of course he will. But it will not work because everything related to Wright is old news while everything related to Palin and her church and pastors will be brand new.
