For years my husband and I have struggled to pay our bills and mortgage. We've raised four children and have never depended on the government to bail us out when times got tough. It is wrong to expect the American taxpayers to bail out the debt of unethical, irresponsible people. What has gone so wrong in this country that it has come to this. Our government is elected to serve the people of this country. Allowing this bailout is a slap in the face of responsible Americans. Our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will pay for the irresponsible actions of those we are now being asked to save. If there is a recession because we refuse to be a cash cow for the irresponsible actions of these people, so be it. This household will tighten it's belt and survive it.
