Anti-Iran Rally Urges the Defeat of an 'Evil Empire'

Submitted by Rabbi Jonathan, Sep 23, 2008 12:33

It was important for no politicians connected with current campaigns to attend. This is not a partisan issue, and any one of those people connected in any way to the campaign would have tainted the rally. Anyone thinking that Palin has to prove anything to this audience has the wrong purpose in mind for the event. It is not about her, but about Iran, and politicians attending, especially those running for office, would simply have distracted from the purpose of the rally.
