More and larger residential buildings housing more families, require more schools. We cannot go on with this discussion until the Department of Education commits to building more seats. This will have to be done creatively, possibly sharing space with underutilized city facilities. The diversity of school choices and programs adds to the dilemma. Parents should not forget how much learning takes place in the home, and strive to make their family unit enriched by all kinds of educational involvement.
