what good would bringing up quadruple-A Val Pascucci do for the Mets? This is red herring. Their problem is not scoring runs. It is holding on to leads. They have 43 blown leads (compared to 33 comeback wins) and 9 walk off losses (compared to 7 walk-off wins). (You'd really rather see Chris Aguilla and VP instead of Nick Evans and Daniel Murphy?) No one could predict Heilman would be such a disaster and he was supposed to be the 8th inning guy--can't blame Minaya for that either.
