You say incorrectly that the people who "actually run the parks day to day" will be in attendance. Then you list them. But NONE of the people on your list actually run the parks day to day. What a different world it would be if the people who actually did the work, managed the parks, and knew what they were talking about were in attendance, and heard. Whoever told you these were the actually park managers mislead you. Except Cipolla, these people are actually the redundant layers of bureaucracy, or unfriendly to national park rangers and staff. Someone should let Laura Bush, who really is trying to help national parks, to meet the real national park people.
