I would think a Republican would be the last one to use the 'D' word ( depression) much like FDR compared mentioning a rope in a man's house who has been hung. If I remember correctly (and what little the McCain-Palin campaign tells the American people about Palin's background), Palin majored in journalism and minored in political science at the University of Idaho, not business or economics. Her views on this are less than two cents. And this value is worth less and less as the days come and go.
