Mr. McWhorter, Analogies are no longer on the SAT. Analogies were booted a few years back, while writing an essay and some other things were added to the verbal portion of the test. I taught for the Princeton Review the year the test changed. Along with the Math Section, there is now a Critical Reading Section and a Writing Section. In the Critical Reading section students answer multiple-choice questions based on long and short reading passages. They also do sentence completions. In the Writing Section they write an essay, identify sentence errors, and improve sentences and paragraphs. Best, Luis Amate Perez
