Let's see, both McCain, the candidate, and his campaign reiterated over the last two days that "Mr. McCain would not attend [the debate] unless there was a 'locked-down agreement' in Washington." We don't have a locked down agreement, but he is going to debate. Is this a lie or a flip-flop? How come Republicans like to dish it out to the other guy, but won't talk the talk when it comes to their own candidates? Goswell, above, says Harry Reid asked McCain to come to Washington. Why lie? As this article points out, "John McCain did nothing to help. He only hurt the process," the Senate majority leader, Harry Reid. When facing two critical wars and a financial crisis, why would anyone want partisan politicians in the room. The campaign trail is blistering. We don't always agree about the tone and style, but such is the U.S. elections process. Yet don't you want a better country? Shouldn't we be grown ups for once? Let's cut the crap and get serious. How many of you are really doing better today?
