Bedbugs Emerge as New Area of Housing Law

Most bedbug infections come from the residents. They come from motels where you slept. They come from goods imported from high infestation countries in the far east, Mexico and central America. Not sure how I got mine, but owning my own home I couldn't complain to any city or state agency. So I took action. First effort failed, but after some research I found any pesticide that kills fleas (they are the strongest) have a chance against bed bugs. And it's not the time to think about being green. Second best simply won't work. I used foggers designed for fleas. Where they recommended 1.5 for the square footage I teated, I used 3. Where they said close the room for 30 minutes, I did 2 hours. I also pretreated matress seams and cracks in the bed. Now bedbugs are insidious. They bite at night. For me it was in the back of my neck. At first you are in a state of denial. You have bites but you rationalize them by thinking you have been bitten by gnats or mosquitos. Not until I was awoken and killed one was I sure what the problem was. But that's the problem. You're never quite sure you gotten them all. After two years and no bites I feel confident of victory. For anyone infected, first try to kill them yourself. My total cost about $30, including the failed effort. Actually I didn't have much choice, my local Orkin francise said the didn't do bedbugs.
