Responding to j in texas, Sep 28, 2008 21:29 "j in texas," Regarding your comment: "... If its about common sense, wouldn't it go to the Dem ticket? ... " Not necessarily. The Democrats, in this case, specifically Barrack Obama, has demonstrated little to nothing in the way of common sense, bad mouthing our nation at a time of war, blocking any and all options for independence from foreign sources of oil, thus continuing to export $700 Billion to foreign states, some who actually are violent, hate filled, radical peoples who hate us. The Democrats tend to be the party that pushes racism, class envy, division, hostility among people, and the killing of innocent living human beings via abortion, rather than personal responsibility, and reward for hard work. No, Democrats, and especially Obama, don't show much, if anything, in the way of "common sense." You also stated: "Women should be in uproar over the selection of Palin as VP. The republicans are mocking your entire gender fully knowing that most of you all are so emotional that you would put up with at least another 4 years of Bush just for the sake of having a dummy female in office. Give me a break. Use your common sense." 1) Why should women be in an uproar over Sarah Palin's nomination to the VP slot? She is an accomplished woman who served as PTA activist-leader, six years as Mayor, and two years as among the most successful governors in the nation with an 80% approval rating by the people of Alaska, compared to the low teens "approval" rating of Nancy Pelosi's and Harry Reed's Congress, and both of them are Democrats. Also, "j from Texas," George W. Bush is NOT running for the Presidency. He served his allowed two full terms - 8 years, and, by current law, George W. Bush cannot run for president again. That is another example of incompetence among Democrats, specifically Obama and his campaign. They don't realize that George W. Bush is not running for president. John McCain is running for president. He is not George W. Bush. He thinks and acts and talks differently from George W. Bush. I suppose when it comes down to it, one can understand Obama, his cult like followers, and you, for making that mistake. It only figures that Democrats have little to know common sense, are emotional and care nothing for facts or truth, and don't even know who they are running against. Remember, Barack Obama's presidential opponent is John McCain, not George W. Bush.
