An electronic subscriber from the very first, and even after all I sought was electronically available without subscription, I am hearbroken and feeling bereft at this news. But I wonder (others have no doubt wondered too): Why not reduction to a website, Slate style, keeping the old writers and editorialists together, now as bloggers? And if you would need paid subcriptions to make it fly, I will be first in line to pay in. Long live the Sun, perhaps in new, reduced, form.
