Dubious Defense of Democracy

Daniel Johnson understands this issue exceedingly well. I'm a researcher and writer on the subject of protecting democracies from Islam's relentless encroachment (see citizenwarrior.com) and I am surprised at the depth of understanding Johnson displays here. I think he makes a point here that needs to be emphasized: "There is no reason why liberal, socialist, or conservative leaders, too, should not defend Western values and explain to Muslims why they too are expected to adopt them." We can see what any level of adoption of Islamic law does to human freedoms. Look at almost any country in the Middle East. When Muslims move to a a democratic country, the democracies must insist they check their Shari'a at the door.
