New in America: Not Muslim, No Taxi

Submitted by Claude Broussard, Jan 8, 2007 16:18

It is astonishing to me that there would be any question that the taxi driver had any right to refuse service to anyone that is in need of honest transportation. If any licensed taxi driver refuses service for any reason - other than a criminal threat - then that taxi driver's license should be immediately removed and that driver should be placed on a "black list" so that they could never hold another such job. Immediate termination of the license and should that driver attempt to serve in any capacity that requires a drivers license - commercial or chauffer - then that person should be held criminally liable.

We have become a "sick" society by allowing such nonsense to take place in our country.

Claude
