Hey! So blind people get stranded at the airport when they get to a new town, people get dissed first thing on arival, and the word is "Why you have to do everything under our law, now that we are here. Yours means nothing now." BULL. If they want to live in a place like that, let them go home to where they came from. What I really want to know is where the people who throw a fit whenever a Christmas tree goes up are, I guess they don't have the guts to protest things which really hurt people. Or maybe they keep their fire limited to only one religion. Also, where are the Americans with Disabilities act people? Heck, where are the Feds? Prohibition ended in this country in the 1920s, for crying out loud - and isn't the word in the commercials to get a ride or a cab if you have had too much to drink?

What really gets me is that they are coming from impoverished hell hole countries to the best one in the world, and instead of saying "Hey! Great!" they are trying to turn it into something like the one they left. If they want that law, let them go back where they came from. No problem, they are free to do so, but if they live here, there are realities to living in the US, and you may not like some choices people make, but it is a free country. We already have laws here based in tolerance and respect for other beliefs. Those laws are too precious to throw away for a few cab drivers who don't want to integrate into society.

Finally - Refusing service? Is that like kicking someone out of the cab because they're black? Arrrgh.

Taxis? Bring back Latka and Professor Jim!
