Luntz has made a career out of obviousness.

Yes, the GOP sucked in 2006 -- hey, you have to lose an election once in a while!

Meanwhile, no one was listening to Boehner -- they were simply voting against Bush. The GOP actually have a wide lead in core communications over the Dems. Yes, Obama sounds good, but his career so far is a bunch of wind, like many of the Democrats. The GOP can actually show respect for Faith, Country, Flag, and mean it.

No Prez candidate will be speaking like Boehner -- they'll use the same Reaganisms that always put Dems on the defensive.
