Before Fat Domino , before Litle Richard, before Chuck Berry,before Elvis, before all 1950's. Ther was a rock n roll song from 1947 called "Move On Over" by Hank Wiliams.Country musician white guy who wroted his own songs. One thing to mention way before Hank Wiliams. There where two rock songs that already existed "John Barleycorn" and "Whiskey In The Jar". This two songs are dating back to 16th -17th century of Europe . They where made by Irish and British folk musicians. Whiskey In the Jar is by Irish musician . John Barleycorn is by belived to be such a old British song that according to some historians is dating back to the 15th century. John Barleycorn was found in Irish and Scotish version too.Back than people didn't have electric guitars and word rock didn't existed so they put them under the folk without knowing that masterpiece they created are actually first rock songs. Those two songs Whiskey In The Jar and John Barleycorn today have a recognition as great rock material played and covered by many rock artists such as Gary Moore, Jethro Tull,Traffic,Thin Lizzy ,Elvis and even Metallica. This two songs are oldest forms of rock music dating few hundred years before 1950's. So if you ever hear all this stories about how whites stole rock from blacks. That is a lie created by politicans far left wing Liberals to trash white people with something.
