Al Qaeda Is ‘Laughing,' Bloomberg Tells Congress

Submitted by John E. Kraft, Jan 10, 2007 13:41

I'm laughing because it has been over five years since the attack on America and that gigantic hole still exists in lower Manhattan. I laugh because the various factions in NYC can't seem to quit "kvetching" and get things done, while lecturing the rest of the country (especially the "red states") about how we are behind the times. I'm laughing because the survivors of the victims of that attack received billions of dollars in solatium money (as opposed to nothing for the victims' survivors for the Oklahoma City bombing) and still are not satisfied with their lot in life. Keep it up, Bloomberg and company. I might wind up laughing so hard that I wet my pants.
