Medal of Honor Upgrade - Reader comments at The New York Sun

My name is Sarah Hiddema, and I am Steve Sanford's girlfriend. I have been working to get his DSC upgraded to the Medal of Honor. I doing so, I've found that, despite very little mainstream media coverage, a lot of people are aware of and grateful for Steve's service.

I realize that this article is four years old, but I am hoping that people are still reading it. If you are, and feel as though Steve deserves the Medal of Honor, please help by writing to your senator.
