What are American taxpayers gaining from this war, which is costing us billions of dollars and driving up our massive deficit?
Why are we spending so much money on a foreign country when our own country needs more funds for Homeland Security (New York's funding was cut), domestic infrastructure, health care, education that will allow our young people to compete in the global economy, and many other needs?
We're not even getting cheap gasoline--not that that would be worth 3000 dead American soldiers and all the billions we have spent.
Why does almost no one speak out about the financial aspect of this war?
America First, I say. Most of our tax money should first be allocated to the improvement of our own country.
