In conjunction with the WPA exhibits I would like to see a listing of where many of these mural are located. I remember a beautiful series done at the Officer's Club at Ft McClellan, Alabama (Anniston, Alabama). The fort was supposed to be closed some time back, so I wonder what happened to the Murals. Ft. McClellan was a military training camp as well as Chemical training base and was also used for training Border Patrol. It has quite a history with WWII prisoner of war German and Italian prisoners and a grave site for prisoners who died while being prisoners. The Fort also was a base for Women Soldiers and had a very nice WAC museum. It was a huge base on two separate reservations. Chemicals were not store at Ft. Mclellan as far as I know. They were located at the Anniston Army Depot some ways from the Fort. I have always wondered what happened to the Workers Progress Murals.
