This is incredibly discouraging, especially on the heels of:

* 3 years of "gentle and compassionate warfare" Bush has been waging due to The American Left

* 8 (or 12?) years of Republican control which resulted in HUGE increases in Fed government spending, size, etc.

* The CA governor's announcement of boosting taxes of US citizens to pay for heathcare for illegal immigrants.

* The lack of police or DA movement in SF in going after the goons that beat up that men's choir, the criminal actions of the infamous Duke DA (Nifong), etc.

* And of course after last night's pathetic display of Dem leadership who collectively threw out nothing but vapid political talking points against Bush's speech last night.

The government is where all the "popular", ego-driven C and D students from high school and college go after either failing to succeed in the private sector or being too afraid to even try. Nice leadership. We're doomed...
