I have sadly come to terms with the reality that the Bush Administration has been so betrayed by the cowardly Republicans in the House and Senate who never seem able to summon the "guts" to defend their President vigorously. They have allowed the Democrats to undermine and slander President Bush relentlessly and it seems their despicable tactics have done their work. The bureaucrats in the various Departments who wage a shadow war against our President and are paid by taxpayers should be prosecuted and probably do jail time for acts of treason! However, it would be funny, if not so outrageous, that Mr. Libby faces prosecution on trumped up charges related to a non-issue. One wonders why Mr. Berger only got a "slap on the wrist" for his theft of classified documents. It is so wrong!

I do disagree with one of Mr. Gersteins therories. "When the Democrats control the White House and it is against one of their policies that Congress and agencies are leaking secrets to the press in wartime.." That scenerio will never happen because the press will support and heap great praise on whomever occupies the White House as long as they happen to be enemies of the Country and are members of the Democrat Party.
