Spitzer: Gay Rites Ahead

Submitted by Mordechai Herschel Cheifetz, Jan 12, 2007 08:32

PM John Howard, who I voted for (Conservative, 1996-) has overturned gay civil union/gay ceremonies/gay marriage in Australia since Day One. Twice he has challenged gay unions in an Australian State jurisdiction, and has won at least the first one, as the federal "Big Brother-Knows All").

Congrats to the NY Gov.; don't be bullied by the conservative US Govt.

I am a supporter of the conservative forces in Oz and USA, and have supported the Aust. ones, State and Commonwealth all my adult life, but as a gay male, and as a tax-paying citizen, it is about time we stood up these sixty-somethings fuddy-duddies. This is the twenty-first century, for f***'s sake!! Wake up and smell the coffee!
