This is outright discrimation. As a parent of a disabled young adult looking to plan for her future, it is discouraging to hear of such bigoted actions. We are all trying to make lives for our young people for before we arrive at stage where we can long longer care for them. Everyone is entitled to a chance.

Perhaps if the Board of this condo were to visit other community living situations they would be reassured

that these are people, not just mentally-retarded labels, and all have the right to decent housing. YAI is one of the foremost agencies and has an impeccable reputation for supervising and running assisted-living situations. Ms. Puddington is a wonderful advocate for all our disabled children and has worked tirelessly to assure her son's future. No one has any idea of the burdens and joys of raising differently-abled children. The members of the Board should ask themselves what they would wish for their children.
