The State of Connecticut does not have a "concealed carry" pistol permit. The statute is Sec. 29-28. of the Connecticut Statutes . Connecticut is an "open carry" state. There is no language in the statute regarding the issuance of a pistol permit to carry stating that the pistol shall be or must be concealed.
