I was very happy when I found out a 'Special Prosecuter" had been assigned to this case until I realized there was something else going on! The reason I was happy about it is because I had been following this case very closely. I use to listen to Imus in the morning while I was getting ready for work. So the morning this story broke Imus was talking to Andea Mitchell about it. Imus asked about the memo in question and Anderea said that on a trip to Africa that she was on along with Colin Powell, he had the memo with him on the plane. Imus asked her ,"did he show it to anyone"? and she said "no but someone could have looked over his shoulder". So it was very obvious from the start that this all started in the State Department. I sent Fitzgearald's office by FED EX all of the information that I had gathered, only to learn later that he already knew not only that Richard Armitage was the source but that Colin Powell had also known about it! The real question is WHY? Why did he persue this knowing from the very beginning WHO the source was, Why didn't the Honnorable Colin Powell who served at the request of the President(this was always his answer to everybody)come forward and save the country not only the cost of millons of dollars but the administration he served under instead of keeping quiet for 3 years? Would either Armitage or Powell have ever come forward if David Corn had not printed it in his book or would the two of them , or should I say the 3 of them Powell,Armitage and Fitzgerald let innocent people go to jail? Fitzgearld has even requested from Judge Walton that the jury not be told who the Leaker is! Does he want the jury to assume it's Libby? Joe wilson doesn't want to be called ,WHY doesn't he want to tell the jury his story?Something is very wrong here and I hope with the pressure from the American People we will know the truth.
