Report: Almost Half City's Middle Schools Are Failing

Submitted by Anthony Periccolo, Jan 16, 2007 10:28

I direct the readers' attention to the recent book titled "Enough" by Juan Williams, which states throughout its pages, "if the United States Supreme Court decision in Brown v. Board of Education, 347 U.S. 483 (1954), was so important, why aren't the parents of the children for whom the decision was rendered taking advantage of the opportunities afforded by that decision?" The answer definitely is not "throwing more money" at a failed system.
