I watched Ms.Fleming's performance with the Mormon tabernacle choir (on PBS) and watched it with growing awe and disbelief., at least 5,6 times.

This is is very unexpected, as I usually scoff at opera as pretentious yodelling. (perhaps I'm the yokel here, hey but thats for another discussion) However, there is nothing higher in art than Ms.Fleming singing about Jesus - perhaps the worthiest of all subjects in human history, for all songs of praise,love and adoration. (No, I have no religion - I don't believe he's God/ savior either)

Is there a DVD of the carnegie hall performance? and Lets hope she focusses more on sacred music from now on, instead of the usual stuff operas are made of - debauchery,betrayal and other mundane mediocrities.
