The liberals constant protests against the war and comparisons to Vietnam have actually escalated and helped to create the present situation in Iraq by emboldening and giving confidence to the enemy putting our troops in further unnecessary danger. The liberals have also succeeded in further doing the bidding of Al Qaeda, and other terrorists groups by alienating the American public from the world and the fight we face against terror. Maybe some Americans don't realize it but there is a strategic reason for us to be in Iraq which has nothing to do with oil as so many shortsighted liberals profess. Iraq is situated right next to Iran, a country controlled by leaders with the mentality of a suicide bomber intent on getting nuclear weapons. To paraphrase the president of Iran, obtaining and using a nuclear weapon, even though the use of such a weapon would mean certain destruction of their country, is a win-win situation for them. Killing their enemies, the little Satan, Israel, and the big Satan, the US, would rid the world of infidels. If Iran should be destroyed and all killed in the process they will still win by going to paradise according to the Iranian president. America, wake up, this is the danger we are facing. The American public who elect liberals to office will do so at their own peril because it could one day mean they will see their children incinerated by a nuclear weapon.

For all the liberals out there who denigrate our troops and the fight we face you need to take a long hard look at yourselves and how your words and actions put us all at risk.
