the person probably saw the film in subtitles..... and this is the sure way of loosing all the fun of a mani ratnam movie.....
the film is inspired from the life of dhirubhai ambani, one of the biggest businessmen of india, who started literally from scratch and went on to make the biggest petroleum refinery of asia.... yes he started with selling and then manufacturing polyester....
