Libby Lawyers Spar Over Jurors' Political Views

This waste of time and money is nothing more than another of the continuing political vendettas that have consumed and engulfed Washington and the political process for the last ten years. Perhaps it was President Clinton's definition of "is" that initiated this mess and his subsequent perjury charge. Untold millions were spent on that ridiculous process. Whatever, It has already been established that V. Palme's name was known to Robert Novak long before the Libby conversation even took place. If our elected officials would spend half as much time and effort enacting beneficial legislation as they have in mutual destruction our nation would be much improved. All of them, in both parties, should look into a mirror and they would discover, "we have found the enemy and it is us." The general public is certainly aware of the source of the problems and have had their fill. If we as a nation represent the epitome of what a true functioning democracy is then it is no wonder a great many nations around the world have no desire to emulate us. Our present political atmosphere is reprehensible by any standard.
