The comparison between Pera and street cart food is absolutely not justified. I've been to Pera a couple of times already and the food is just great. I never really liked lamb because of its smell and its taste, which I primarily knew from street cart kebabs. But the very friendly staff in Pera convinced me to try it and I know I will have it again. Try to get cubes of lamb (or chicken) like Pera's in this size, quality and tenderness anywhere on a street cart!
