Turkish Delight

I have to say, I am absolutely dumbfounded by this review. I have been to Pera a few times and love it!! The meats are absolutely delicious and I have never ever had such a tender lamb before. The meats are tender, cooked and seasoned to perfection and I can't believe that this article is comparing the meats at Pera to a streetfood vendor!! and compares the price of the meats to the street food!! I find this insulting. The meats on the streets are poor quality, cheap and nothing compared to what the friendly wait stuff at Pera serves to hungry midtowners (in area where there was abolutely nothing before and a great need for a good restaurant to feed all the business people). I also have to say that Turkish food is not street food and that is apparently what the author of this article had in mind. Go to Turkey and see!! High end restaurants serve doner kebabs and the Turkish cousine is well known for being delicate and the fact that the author of this article compares it with fast food only emphasizes the need for a high end Turkish place like Pera to show people that Turkish food is not street food!!
