Libby Defense Points Finger At Karl Rove

Submitted by Darla Morgan, Jan 24, 2007 14:48

For all the political pundits and journalists who constantly praise Karl Rove's brillance, this trial may open a few eyes to the fact that being smart or intelligent does not immunize a person for using hisor her talent for evil rather than good.

As one who has closely observed the evil acts by Mr. Rove that damaged a large group of acquaintances and friends, it is about time more pundits and journalists really explore Mr. Rove's past and acknowledge the harm he has done to our Constitution, the United States of America and our political system. Of course, Mr. Libby was right there with him. And as usual, Mr. Rove appears to have excaped punishment or accountability. Those of us who believe in God, however, may have a different opinion on whether he has escaped punishment, or not.
