My husband has been a truck driver for many years in construction. Many hard working men have supported themselves and their families because they were good drivers and willing to work hard. They joined a union and made a decent wage. If illegal immigrants are given driver's licenses, employers will hire them to replace union drivers and construction workers in even larger numbers than they do now and pay them a lot less than the union workers. I know the middle class and union workers are being hurt by our politicians and I am sad to see a democratic politician helping the cause of illegals. Something is terribly wrong here. I hope more logical minds will prevail,but I am losing hope.
