N.Y. Archdiocese Will Close 10 Parishes

Submitted by Saulius Simoliunas, Jan 25, 2007 13:42

Developers are interested in high rise faceless buildings and do not care about real monuments of New York's history as the 100 year plus Our Lady of Vilnius Church. The Roman Catholic hierarchy is just interested in becoming rich from other people's toils. The parsishioners should organize and incorporate to mount legal challenges in courts to preserve New York's landmark and monument to Lithuanian immigrants.
