Even more important than the points you raise, it is illegal (a felony) under federal statutes to make straw gun purchases, and Mayor Bloomberg is inciting his representatives in an announced conspiracy to do exactly that. The BATFE should do what it is obligated to do and arrest these individuals for going across state lines specifically to break federal laws in this manner, and Mayor Bloomberg should be indicted for multiple counts of conspiracy in sending them out of state to do so.
