Trial Exposes Scramble Over Botched Bush Speech

Submitted by Sherwin Steffin, Jan 27, 2007 11:32

Many will recall the impeachment talk circulating around Congress before the last election. Dick Cheney has been the greatest cover that Bush could ever ask for, when any serious consideration of impeachment might have been undertaken.

Whatever the eventual outcome of the Libby trial, it should dispel any doubts about the person that Dick Cheney really is. What ever the explanation for Bush's intransigence, we are likely to find that Cheney was the final source used by Bush for justifying the military policy in Iraq.
