in response to reader comment: Political Correctness & Extreme Liberalism

Submitted by Dick Corby, Jan 30, 2007 13:03

My Question to everyone is - When do WE THE PEOPLE finally decide enough is enough? So far we just sit back and take the pap the media gives us on the news, and bow to their views and ideas.

What about the good things about the war in Iraq? 3 minutes on the news the other day devoted to the Protestors of the War in Iraq, and a brief flicker of a statement from a veteran that tried to say there was a lot being accomplished there. How does one effectively fight a politically correct war?? Our military is being expected to do just that.

We are paying the bills, and no longer controlling the purse strings. And the Wicked Witch of the East and her minions are filling the airwaves with more and perhaps worse over the next few months. Just to get elected and/or re-elected to their cushy jobs.

We commoners get social security, which is always in jeopardy - If you were to do some research and see what these guys in control of your social security and medical benefits get and what they pay for it. And to top that off, they recently voted themselves a pay raise that we heard little if anything about. Which increases their benefits significantly as well.

Multi millions of our tax dollars are going to support Illegal Aliens. They are straining our School Systems, medical facilities, welfare systems, and soon our social security system by being eligible to get payment without contributing. Just so we dont have to mow our lawns, clean up our motel rooms and pick our own fruit and vegetables.

How do we negotiate with people that want us dead? Obama and Jimmy Carter want us to sit down with terrorists and talk our way into peaceful co-existence. If the status Quo remains we are doomed as a society. And the communists have waited it out, and Kruschevs "in time we will bury you" prophecy is coming to pass. Only time will tell.

The old rule we grew up with no longer applies. We were raised that "what you heard on the news or read in the newspaper was the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth". We need to revise that to "what you hear on the news is the truth according to the Media, the partial truth they want you to hear, and the idiots that watch, read and listen deserve what they get".
