The DOT commissioner's accomplishments do not include protecting pedestrians and bicyclists or any improvements in residential health or quality of life. The commissioner has supported traffic flow and dominance during her tenure, forcing the walker and clean rider to become frightened victims. The commissioner has been robbing New York City with her policies that stimulate costly congestion, delayed EMS and an unhealthy environment. Good riddance and any replacement can't be as bad, even from an administration that has been so incensitive to New York City's congestion nightmare.
