Bin Laden Lookalike Arrested Twice

By The Daily Telegraph | May 1, 2007

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Pakistani intelligence agents have arrested Osama bin Laden twice, it was reported yesterday. Or at least they have arrested a man who looks very much like the Qaeda leader.

Mr. bin Laden has chosen his putative hiding location very well for not only does the mountainous Afghan-Pakistan border provide seemingly impenetrable cover but also many of the local tribesmen, Pathans, resemble him.

A tribesman who is the doppelgänger of the sheikh has now been arrested on two occasions, both times following reported sightings, Pakistani intelligence officials reportedly told ABC News.
