Mass Grave Discovered In Iraq's Diyala Province

Coalition and Iraqi forces discovered a mass grave in Diyala province where the bodies of women, children, and the elderly were among those buried after killings residents blamed on Al Qaeda in Iraq, the American military said. The grave was found yesterday near the village of al-Muhbabiyah in the northeastern province after tips from local citizens, the military said yesterday in an e-mailed statement. The Iraqis said the people were killed July 28, the military said.
