After Office, Mayor Plans To Monitor Others

Mayor Bloomberg said yesterday that he may not stray far from the public debate after leaving office.

Mr. Bloomberg said he would consider instead using his personal philanthropic foundation to hold elected officials accountable by tracking whether they kept their political pledges.
