Body Found Floating Off of Manhattan

The second body in as many days was found floating in the water off of Lower Manhattan yesterday, police officials said.

Police are investigating the discovery of the body of a 43-year-old Asian man near Pike Street in Manhattan a day after another body was discovered floating in the Hudson River.

Police did not release the identity of the second body. The medical examiner was investigating the cause of death.

The two deaths are thought to be unrelated.
