Brooklyn Couple Found Dead at Home

Police are investigating the violent death of a married couple found dead in their Brooklyn home yesterday afternoon.

According to police, Mark Schwartz, 50, and Christina-Maria Petrowski-Schwartz, 48, were found together in their bed at East 33rd Street in Marine Park at about 1 p.m., with what are believed to be gunshot wounds to their heads. Emergency medical workers pronounced them dead at the scene.

The two worked as attorneys in Brooklyn. Mrs. Petrowski-Schwartz was a divorce lawyer while her husband, Mr. Schwartz, worked as a business lawyer. Their offices are listed in the same building in Flatlands.

Police say that no arrests have been made in the case and they are still working to determine the cause of death.
