Brooklyn Police Investigate Shooting Near High School

Police are investigating the shooting of a teenager who was shot in the head yesterday across the street from a Brooklyn high school, police officials said.

Police found the victim, who was not identified, across the street from Sheepshead Bay High School on the corner of Coyle Street and Avenue X at about 5 p.m., police said.

The victim, who was still alive but in critical condition, was rushed to Kings County Hospital where examiners determined he had been shot in the head, police said.

No arrests have been made, police said.
